Som em Bando starts with a question: why does the music at a gathering play on just one phone? The app connects everyone's devices and creates a mix based on each person's taste — the playlist stops belonging to one person and becomes the group's.
The technical magic: the phones listen to each other. Using the microphone, each device detects the waveform of the others and adjusts in real time to ADD UP — turning a bunch of phones into a synchronized wall of sound. The more devices in the circle, the bigger the experience.
And when the night heats up, it turns into karaoke: the app separates the vocals from the instrumental, puts the lyrics on screen in video, and organizes the turns — it says whose turn it is to grab the mic. No one is left out, no one hogs it.
